Objects explores what happens when ordinary things are given the status of heritage, artwork or protected object.
Everyday items — including The Last Plastic Bag of the World and a tile carrying an advertising logo — are treated as if they require preservation, classification and institutional recognition.
By shifting the status of familiar objects, the project questions who decides what is valuable, what deserves to be preserved and when an object becomes art.
The work moves between object, label, authorship and institutional legitimacy.
